Price Changes and New Website

July 7^th, 2014

Dear Organics to You Customers—

We are writing to inform you about some upcoming changes here at Organics to You:

About every four years, we have to make the difficult decision to raise prices.  We do our best to keep our service affordable while supporting organic farmers and other local businesses.  The cost of fuel, organic produce, organic groceries, maintaining our biodiesel fleet, supporting the crew with a living wage and health insurance, and other odds and ends of running a small sustainable business does seem to increase a bit each year.  We have absorbed these price increases for as long as we can.  The new pricing information for bins and groceries will be updated as quickly as possible over the next two weeks on the website, and the price changes will be effective as of July 20^th.

Our new user-friendly website designed by Peaceful Media should be launching by September!   You will have more direct control of your account via the customer portal, and the website will be more streamlined and easier to navigate.  Of course, we will continue to be available via email to help with any matter or concern.

We thank you for your continued support of our local and organic business.  Hope you are enjoying the amazing bounty of the summer harvest!

Monday, 2/10/14 Delivery Delay

Hello Monday Customers--

Organically Grown Company, Charlie's Produce, and some our farmers are on a delayed schedule due to the winter storm and resulting ice this weekend.  Our big shipments won't be arriving until this afternoon.  Monday routes have been rescheduled for Tuesday, 2/11/14 delivery.  All routes for the rest of the week should be delivered as regularly scheduled.  Check out our Facebook page for up-to-date information.

We are taking our annual break to celebrate the holidays with our families and friends.  We hope that you have wonderful holidays with your community too. 

We will keep folks on their regular delivery cycle schedules.  

Example:  “Every two weeks” customers that would have normally received their delivery on Tuesday, Dec 24^th are now scheduled to receive the next delivery on Tuesday, Jan 7^th.

Tuesday, Dec 31st:  Delivery as usual.                                                                              
Wednesday, Jan 1st:  Delivery as usual.

E-Response Schedule + Order Change Policy

E-Request/Email/Order Response Schedule
Due to a mass amount of requests at this time, we are processing emails and new orders based on time-sensitivity/delivery day:

Mon Route Customers=Email/Web Request/Order will be processed by Sunday
Tues Route Customers=Email/Web Request/Order will be processed on Monday
Wed Route Customers=Email/Web Request/Order will be processed on Tuesday
Thurs Route Customers=Email/Web Request/Order will be processed on Wednesday
Fri Route Customers=Email/Web Request/Order will be processed on Thursday

***If you'd like to skip a delivery, change your order, modify your preferences, or update your payment information--please still give the office at least 48 hours notice (by email or e-request via our website) prior to your scheduled delivery.***

All new customer sign-ups received by Saturday before 3PM will be scheduled for delivery that week on the appropriate day according to delivery zone. All new customer orders submitted during the current delivery week will receive their first delivery the following week. You will receive a confirmation email from us at least one day before your order will be delivered.
